Connect your PayPal account

The merchant starts PayPal seller onboarding from its Maxana dashboard and finishes the consent flow at PayPal. The PayPal account belongs to the same business that owns the Maxana account.

Do not infer readiness from the browser returning to the dashboard. Use the readiness shown by Maxana, and do not accept live traffic until payments are enabled. PayPal can finish the browser flow before every requested capability is available.

The PayPal seller-consent screen identifies Maxana as the partner requesting access. That is expected for a direct merchant, which already has a relationship with Maxana.

Current limits

Seller onboarding does not let your application assert completion. PayPal decides the merchant’s eligibility and granted capabilities. A completed browser journey is not itself evidence that payments are enabled.
